The Answer
Amid much speculation, the next 4200 series coach has been rolled out...4245 (global max!) was spotted Sunday afternoon on Broadway headed back to Atlantic Base, aparrently after a morning tripper.
On another note, where is the 4200 series today? I've seen many 4000's. Why is it that some days the 4200's are out in force, but other days not at all? Is Metro preparing the final role-out that will replace the 4000's for good?

Strong spot, M*A*N! I did see a 4200 series coach (blue) on the 49 yesterday, but far enough in the distance that I couldn't discern its number -- even with my hawk-like vision.
