Nostalgia

In honor of our Chicago readers, today I've decided to post some pics (taken from a most impressive Chicago bus spotter site) of my favorite Chicago bus scenes. Of interest! Pics #2-4 are all from my old 'hood. And even more exciting (and MO relevent) Pics #3-4 are former King County Metro buses! Finally, note how Chicago buses never have functioning destination signs -- even when they use buses whose Seattle bus-siblings continue to always function.

awesome stuff. Especially the video (last post I know but I've been out of it for a while).
Ahhh, the differneces between transit systems. Do you think the Chicago drivers let people use the Seattle-style bike rack?..and that SF bus seemed to be manuevering way faster than any trolley around Seattle

I think you can put your bike on Chicago buses, but only at super restricted times like 11pm-3am on tuesdays. M*A*N, we should watch the movie "Speed" soon to get a representation of LA buses. Don't they go fast and have bombs and stuff?
